The fire of Naamah

Explore the esoteric significance of Naamah's fire within the Covenant of the Sacred Flame. Delve into her symbolism and influence, and understand her role in our spiritual journey.

Understanding Naamah's fire

Naamah, often shrouded in mystery, embodies a unique fire that represents the Scarlet Woman and Lilith the Younger.  Her potency ignites within us the desire for release and transformation. She is Queen in the Sphere of Malkuth in her lighter aspect and bestower of the divine kingship of ones own world.  In Nehamoth she is the temptress that reminds us of our hidden desires. She is the initiatrix into the Tree of Night in the womb of Lilith. The little death that give light of rebirth. Her flames direction is the cave/alcove, or the space and is a orange hue.

Naamah's role

Naamah the Pleasant, Naamah the beautiful, and Naamah the fierce lover

One of the 4 Angels of Prostitution, she is the Goddess of Prostitutes not in the vile ways this civilization views them. But the sacred prostitutes of old, the divine Priestess, that connects the lost to the divine in blissful union. Her energy revitalizes the sexual body and reinforces its vitality. She is also the lady of death, for her gift is that of the Orgasm. Through Lust and desire, we find pleasure and pain. It is through death we experience release and achieve life and rebirth through orgasm. It is through this little death, that we find fulfillment in pleasure. But it is with a lack of respect to these energies that one becomes addicted to the lust and desire and never find fulfillment. For with this humble understanding, we see the light of her fire. Her teachings and embrace. For her flame is vibrant orange, containing the three attributes: Lust, Desire, and Death. It is through awakening each that we understand the importance of her energy in our life. That Lust and Desire is fuel for pleasure, joy, and ascension. It is through death that reminds us of the rebirth after the release not just in sexuality yet with all projects in life. When one door closes, another one opens. Thus, the cycle of life flows.

Integrating Naamah's fire into your practice

Working with Naamahs current will give rise to abundance through action.  She demands it and will expect those who carry her fire to be true to their desires and what best serves the self.  Her rites are of pleasure and she seeks us not to hide in the darkness through masterbation but in the light through fornication.

Praxis Part 1: Naamahs cultivating creativty and integration rite

The belief that creativity stems from within is not a modern concept. For ages, practitioners of yoga believe that certain energies reside in different areas of the body. The creative fire is often described as residing in the sacral chakra. Which is right above the sexual organs. The idea that if your thinking of sex all the time, its most likely you have an overactive sacral chakra.  Which is 100% not a bad thing, just means that energy needs to be channeled to other areas of the body or through acts. Such as painting, music, writing, hiking and taking pictures, or in occasional cases sex. The body is a temple that needs nourishment and respect. To cultivate this energy from the sacral can be seen in multiple ways. I find using white and aspects of red tantra helpful along with Pranayama Yoga. Below is listed some exercises you can do to move the energy through the body.

Breathwork practice: Begin by curling your tongue to where it rests at the top pallet of your mouth. Then cock your chin downward towards your chest. This creates a Bindu lock magnetizing the spine. Then breath deep through your nostrils and out your mouth. After practicing this for a while, you should start to feel a flow of energy up the spine. Advanced practices of this are the cobra breath and the chakra breath pulling shakti fire through each chakra revitalizing them.

White Tantra Sexual Alchemy Rite:

This is a second method of using the breath. “When you pull the sexual energies from your root to your crown. The revitalizing and purifying energies flow through each of your channels up to the crown leaving residual behind in each. When you burn bright from your crown with the energies, release in orgasm and feel them explode throughout your body providing virility and transmutation.”  I have come to find this sexual rite is great for revitalizing the bodies energies. If you have taken in energies or need to integrate what you have within, this rite aids in that as it pulls everything in the body up to the crown. The orgasm transmutes it all into your energy integrating it. This helps revitalize the body with creative energy for you to focus on. In addition helps with transmuting energy from anxiety and stress.

Process: This practice is a combination of masturbation and edging by halting before orgasm, and through pranayama breathwork pulling the energy up your spine. This should only be done individually. If with a partner that does not know how to move energies, it could potentially be a rite of sexual vampirism. Pulling their energies as well up your spine.

Breathwork practice: Prior to trying this rite, practice the breath. Begin by curling your tongue to where it rests at the top pallet of your mouth.

Pre-Rite: Find something that stimulates the mind and body to aid in masturbation. Although you might be seeing a picture or video, your intention and purpose is to revitalize and move the energies. The picture and video become a tool only.

The Rite:

Sit comfortably where your back can be straight at times. Begin stimulating yourself. Right as your getting close to orgasm, pause and sit up straight and do the breathwork. Continue this until you feel your crown on fire with energy. Then when ready release in orgasm. You should feel a warmth over your entire body and at your crown.

After thought: Woman can have multiple orgasms so feel free to try this multiple times. For men, the longest I practiced this was an hour and half. At that point, I was beginning to feel the pleasure and the pain. So, recommend for men hour max.

Red Tantra Partner Cultivating Creativity and Sexual Alchemy:

If you are reading this and are interested, recommend the book called Jewel in the Lotus/The Tantric Path to Higher Consciousness by Sunyata Saraswati and Bodhi Avinasha. Amazing book on the subject matter.

You can practice the sexual alchemy rite with a partner. This helps with polarity balancing of the masculine and feminine creative energies. Using the Yabyum position or the female on top bringing the chest together and both pausing at times to pull in the energy, you’re cycling back and forth the energies up to your crown. Some people will do this practice with their clothes on, the closeness is all that is needed.  Balancing the body. If without clothes, it will bring you energetically closer to your partner and harness creative energies for other purposes so be mindful. If both are same gender you can still practice this, just need the bodies close together.

Praxis Part 2: Inner Temple Rite

(If you have already completed this, you may skip)

The Inner Temple

The Chair, Mirror, and Table initiation is way to visualize, organize your energy, and construct an inner temple to house the sacred fired. Through a guided meditation and initiation, the practitioner awakens the inner temple and seat of power. It is from this room that the individual can consciously explore the rest of his or her spiritual body. The Chair symbolizes your seat of power, your throne. The Mirror’s shape, style, and quality are the inner un-conscious reflections of self-image. The Table is the foundation of present and future work. The layout of the table and quality signifies the spiritual personal foundation. If the table is solid, then a firm foundation is set in place. If the table is crumbling, then the individual has an unbalance in his or her life or elemental unbalance. The three objects are key elements inside the room, which symbolizes the inner temple. The windows, wall coverings and lighting all reflect the individual’s connection to the inner spiritual consciousness. The room will be an inner sanctuary as well as a place to connect to the Deities.

Guided Meditation and Initiation

Sit or lay down (recommended have someone read to you or pre-record). Have a journal to jot down your findings.

Meditation: Close your eyes. You see a door in front of you a black door with a silver handle. When you are ready open the door and step in. You are in a room lit up from windows and wall lighting. What does the room look like? What do the windows look like? What do the light fixtures on the wall look like? (Pause) Located on the wall to your left is a 7-foot-tall mirror. What does the mirror look like? (Pause) Turn to face the rest of the room. Towards the middle of the room, there is a large chair and a large table. What is the material of the chair and table? What do they look like? (Pause) Is the table solid or crumbling? If crumbling, see all the pieces slowly remolding before your eye. The table first turns silver, then gold and returns to the original form and color. (pause) Glance once more around this room. This is your inner temple or inner sanctuary connected to your spiritual nature. Turn towards the center of the room. A fire erupts in the center of your temple. This is your sacred fire, your spark of creation. The fire shimmers with a silvery glow guarding its light. It will not go out yet by maintaining it by offering wood you solidify your connection to the fire. It is this relationship that will aid in the practice.

Turn to your right, you see the door you entered through Open the door, a bright light shines through, and step through the door. You see yourself sitting, when ready sit back into your body and when ready, open your eyes. You have just established and awakened your inner temple.

(Complete this rite for three days to solidify and to easily visualize your inner temple)

Praxis Part 3: Sigil of Naamah

There are many sigils for Naamah, use the one that you feel called to.

1. The top right Sigil form of the Spirit Naamah,  from correspondences in “777” by Aleister Crowley or a similar source.

2. The bottom sigil is the Draconian sigil for Naamah created by Asenath Masion creator of the temple of the ascending flame. It is in this sigil she meets those at the gate of the Qliphoth and opening the passage to Gamaliel initiating into the rites of sacred sexuality.

Draw or paint a sigil for Naamah on paper or canvas, if you have one made you can use it.  Using canvas is preferred for future rites.

Praxis Part 4: Awakening Naamah Fire Ritual

Tools:
A orange pillar candle, glass orange candle preferred. (often found at the doller store as prayer candles). You will leave it vigil and burn out. Tea lights work as well
The Sigil
Lancet, to annoint the sigil with a drop of your blood. (Your blood connects you to the divine current)
A dagger, sword, wand for circle casting
Sea Salt
Essential oil of choice
Lighter
Alchohol/Sanitation wipe
Journal and pen

Part 1: Take a ritual bath: Mix a small bowl of sea salt and the essential oil. While in the shower, after washing, scrub your body with the sea salt and essential oil. Its a spiritual cleanser, exfoliates the skin, and leaves a scent. (do not use rock salt sea salt, only use the finley ground powder sea salt.)

Part 2: Sacred space preperation: You can use a room with a table, or if you have an altar place the candle, lancet, sanitation wipe, and sigil on it. Have it to where you can see it. Prepare the room with additional candles and incense to set the mood. Dragons blood or Sandlewood recommended. (Incense not necessary if in a place you cannot.)

Part 3: Creating the Circle: There are many ways to cast a circle. For the Draconian current I use the one: "I cast a circle of serpents around, entwined and bound, above and below to protect the energies sow."  Another from Coven Crystal Dragon: "I cast this circle, a place that is not a place, a space between here and the land of the mighty ones to be a sacred space."

Take your dagger/sword/want, and walking counter clockwise (as we are going within), draw pushing your energy through the ritual tool drawing the circle around the space while saying the words of choice. End with drawing a trident upright to seal the space.

Part 4. Fire Meditation: (Site in a comfortable position) Begin by visualizing a triangle of fire in front of you getting larger. As the triangle approaches you it gets much larger. The Triangle then becomes so large it surrounds you forming a pyramid of light and fire. A large serpent surrounds the pyramid that is like the serpent that rests at your root of your spine below your root chakra. With each deep breath visualize each serpent rising circling the pyramid and circling your spine. As the inner serpent rises through each chakra, the chakra ignites with a fiery glow. After the serpent makes it to the crown chakra, it rests its head on your crown and its tail becomes a part of your spine, awakening your inner site. The serpent outside of the temple as it rests upon the pyramids top, it unfolds its wings and ignites the fire causing the fire built up around the pyramid to shoot downward into your crown, increasing your energy for future work.

Part 5: Sigil Visualization: Use the alchohol wipe and wipe your finger. Using the lancet place a drop on the sigil. Light the candle.

Mediation: Stare at the sigil for a time until you can memorize its shape. Stare at the candle flame, then close your eyes. You are in a field with trees in the distance. It is dusk and the sun is setting. The ground shakes and rising from the field in front of you is the sigil in gold and silver. You see it fully rise then morph and change shape and then return to its original shape and open. As it opens a gust of light and darkness flow into the field. Began chanting "Naamah", at least nine times.

Part 7: Inner Temple Meditation

Meditation: See before you a black door with a silver handle. You have seen this door before, it is to your temple door. Open the door and step in. The torch light flickers on the wall as you see your table, chair and mirror. In the center of the room you see your source flame burning bright.. Walk toward it and take a log and place it on the flames. As you do this, the torches on the walls flare up and back down. Turn to the left corner of the room. You see stairs going down into the ground.  Start walking down its steps. As you do torchs along the wall erupt giving light and you see at the bottom of the steps a room lit up with a blue hue. As you look within the room, the blue fire burns bright. Throw a log onto the fire. Outside the room Steps continue downward. Follow the steps down. Torches erupt on the walls giving you light. Reddish  and Orange light is coming from the bottom of the stairs. The light shines from a room on the right.  The room consist of  two fire pits  and two ornate beds and red flame torches along the walls. One fire pit and bed on the left side and one fire pit and one bed on the right.  The fire pit on the right side of the room blazes with a red fire. You see a stack of logs next to the fire. Take a log and place it on the red fire. The fire pit on the left side of the room blazes with a orange flame.  You see a stack of logs next to the fire. Take a log and place it on the orange fire.  As you do the torches along the wall flare up and back down. Take time to feel its warmth. Look around the room, take note what you see to write down in your journal. If you see the Goddess there see what messages she has for you

Part 8: Closing

  1. Give thanks to Naamah that resides without and within.
  2. Say: " I leave this candle burning vigil, in honor of its sacred flame and the flame I carry."
  3. Say: "It is done"
  4. Draw the upside down trident to open the space
