The Rite of the Torch Bearer

The initiation of the Covenant of the Sacred Flame is the final rite and agreement with all currents of the sacred flame to carry them as a torch bearer.  Like the role of Hekate/Hecate, the path of the torch bearer can be found in many communities as a keyholder and gate keeper. The path to knowledge, experience, or opportunities can be blocked by hidden or unknown factors in ones life. The torch bearer with their light gives clarity and can help the individual to find the key to unlock those doors so that they can move forward. Counselors, Life coaches, Spiritual Laymen/woman, Healers, Shaman, Witches, and those that seek to give advice are often seen as these Torch Bearers.  Up to this final working, the rituals were to help the practitioner connect to divine currents of fire and use them to further their walk spiritually.  The Rite of the Torch Bearer is a covenant between the self and the divine as an agreement to carry the sacred flame through life as a beacon for others.  It is not an agreement to make lightly as it will align your spiritual path in one of service. Service to your highest self and by doing so service to others. As each interaction with others becomes a form of exchange and in some form, service.  With that said,  it is encouraged after this rite to find a balance spiritually, physically, mentally and emotionally. This will ensure the fires will maintain a healthy blaze and help guide your steps. Maintenance will still be required yet, not a every night basis.

Tools Needed:

It is encourage to begin this work on a new moon or dark moon at night. The veil is thin between that which is hidden. 

Sigils of all Deities painted or printed up (have them surrounding the ritual space or on the alter)

Print, draw, or paint the Covenant of the Sacred Flame sigil. (place this on your altar, make it small if possible as it will be burnt at the end of the ritual)

Black, Red, Gold, and Blue candle. (On your altar have the candles in a pyramid form with the black candle in the middle of the pyramid. Gold top, Red left corner, Blue Right corner)

Day 1

 

1. Opening and Awakening the body Temple

Light the candles for ambience

 Casting the circle – I cast this circle of serpents around, entwined and bound, above and below, to protect the energies so.

Opening the Energetic Body:

Sit in a comfortable position as you will vibrate the sacred names of each chakra to ignite them in a sacred blaze. Say the names as many times needed to feel connection to the energy within it.  After you sense the energy, contract your sphincter, cock your chin downward, and breath deep through your nostrils.  See the rainbow serpent rise from the base of your spine to flow through each chakra. 

  1. Root/Muladhara Chakra: Breath deep a few times through your nostrils filling yourself and focusing on the serpent. Then vibrate the sound Lam.  As you slowly vibrate the name your root chakra expands like a vibrant red spinning orb. Contract your sphincter and breath deep at the same time, the serpent moves through  the chakra and it becomes a vibrant red fiery sun.
  2. Sacral/SvadhisthanaL: Breath deep a few times through your nostrils filling yourself and see the serpent move to the orange sacrel chakra right below the belly button. Then vibrate the sound Vam. As you slowly vibrate the name your sacral chakra expands like a vibrant orange spinning orb. Contract your sphincter and breath deep at the same time and the serpent quickly moves through it and the chakra becomes a vibrant orange fiery sun,.
  3. Solar Plexus/Manipura: Breath deep a few times through your nostrils filling yourself and see the serpent move up to the yellow chakra between the heart and the belly button. Then vibrate the sound Ram. As you slowly vibrate the name your solar plexus is like a vibrant yellow spinning orb. Contact your sphincter and breath deep at the same time and the serpent quickly moves through it and the chakra becomes a vibrant yellow fiery sun.
  4. Heart Chakra/Anahata: Breath deep a few times through your nostrils filling yourself and see the serpent move up to the green chakra, above the heart. Then vibrate the sound YAM. As you slowly vibrate the name your heart chakra is like a vibrant green spinning orb. Contract your sphincter and breath deep at the same time and see the serpent quickly moves through it and the chakra expands and becomes a vibrant green sun.
  5. Throat Chakra/Vishudda: Breath deep a few times through your nostrils filling yourself and see the serpent move up to the blue chakra hovering above the throat. Then Vibrate the sound HAM. As you slowly vibrate the name your throat chakra is like a vibrant blue spinning orb. Contract your sphincter and breath deep at the same time and see the serpent quickly move through it and the chakra expands and becomes a vibrant blue sun.

  6. Third Eye/Ajna: Breath deep a few times through your nostrils filling yourself and see the serpent move up to the purple                  chakra hovers above your forehead. Then vibrate the sound Aum. As you slowly vibrate the name your third eye chakra is like a        purple glowing spinning orb. Contract your sphincter and breath deep at the same time and see the serpent quickly move                  through  it and the chakra expands and becomes a vibrate purple sun.

  7.Crown Chakra/Sahasrara: Breath deep a few times through your nostrils filling yourself and see the serpent coil around and             rest  its head upon your crown. Then vibrate the sound AUOM (sounds like aw..om). As you slowly vibrate the name, your crown       chakra spins like a golden lotus unfolding. Contract your sphincter and breath deep at the same time pulling all the energies             from the chakras  below to the crown. As you do this the crown expands like a golden sun and the serpent unfolds its wings and       awakens the rainbow serpent fire that baths the body with its blaze.

 

2. The Baptism by Fire

Facing South: Using your dagger or sword, draw the trident sigil

Meditate on any information received through thought or word within. Write down what you experience. If you receive a no, ask why. Wright down that answer. The deities are noble and have good reasons for declining or accepting. You can still proceed but it is better to have their blessing. If you receive a yes, then proceed to the next day work.

 3.  Spirit Naming 

Naming the spirit gives a means to bringing it to energetic reality. Some people see it as a form of a dragon, angel, vampire, animal, orb, but it is formless. By naming and recognizing the spirit, you bring it into alignment with the whole self. The four aspects hold all directions into form. This is the higher self, the lower self, the physical self, and the spiritual self.

Aspects of Self:
Higher Self: Guardian Spirit and Aly
Physical: Reflected Consciousness
Lower Self: Your Daemon
Spirit: divine fire and personal will

They are all the same, the higher, lower, and physical self.  Once spirit is actualized, we are in all worlds all at once. A return to balance and a walker between worlds. 

A.  Finding the Name Ritual


Prework:
Gather candles and incense that inspires you personally, find a few keys that will be kept as for spiritual means to place by a picture, statue, sigil of Hecate. And a journal to write down the experience.  It is encourage to be worked on a new moon or dark moon at night. The veil is thin between that which is hidden. 

Ritual:
Cast a circle: reasoning is it creates a container to do the work to clear out unwanted thoughts from other spirits that might influence, that are not the ones you bring in

Sit comfortably with your eyes closed and wait to see if any symbols, sigils, or if you internally hear a name. Once you receive the message, thank Hecate internally or externally and awaken. Write down your findings. If a name did not appear. Repeat the same process until a name is given.

Thank Hecate and close the circle. Be sure to keep the keys on your altar or in your ritual space as thanks to Hecate.

3. Diamond Fractal Rite

 

In the creed as above so below, you awaken energy in all seven directions creating a diamond grid in the form of the hexagram.  Six points flow outward as one within. Once light flows through, the grid creates a fiery form, creating the internal sun to awaken and radiate outward. A new sun is born, a new star. You become the convergence, the sun and the moon, aligned with all aspects of spirit, the Diamond Fractal. It is considered a form of spiritual alchemy. The whole process as mysterious and wonderful as it sounds with its energetic effects, is not as important as  the steps taken after. The energy will flow as the work is completed with aligning the self. 

The convergence of the sun and moon to become one and whole, the unification of all aspects in order to awaken a path of self individuation as well as connected to the source collective consciousness.  The diamond fractal is used to create an energetic signature of the energy given by source and awakening its source potential. Similar to awakening the torch of Hecate, you become a carrier of your own sacred fire. Thus begins learning your own gnosis and sharing its light. Radiating life and death in a constant flux. sustaining eternal will. Understanding this creates a protective lens of the spirit to aid in keen sight.

 

Create your ritual space, obtain six candles.  You will be summoning the light and fire of the Initiators Lucifer, Lilith, Hecate, Set, and Source Creator.  You will need a candle for your spirit name as a link to Source Creator.  The candle of Lucifer, Hecate, and Lilith should form a triangle outside of where you are sitting similar to the above sigil.  Source Creator and Set candle representing the above/below, feminine and masculine hexagram. In the draconian tradition, the trident is a key that opens doors. In summoning you will draw with an athame the trident. In closing you will draw the trident upside down. The intention of this right is personal to each individual. The design of its creation, is to find a deeper connection to the name given and energy of spirit using the initiators flames as a conduit of awakening.  Awakening in consciousness and perception not of ego but of the spirit.  The rite also uses Kundalini energy through self sexual alchemy.  To see the fires of self as external is a disassociation of self. Yet this disassociation is needed to self actualize. It is the rite of sexual alchemy that brings it all into wholeness where the fires become one, your own.

  • Face Within: (Draw the trident above the candle.) "I summon and invoke  your sacred black flame Lord Set, shine its light through my diamond. Let my intention ignite its pure flame into a golden hue" (light the candle. Close your eyes and breath deeply seeing the flames flow through your nostrils)

 

 

Sexual Alchemy:

This rite brings all the fires to the crown to ignite the crown in a form of sexual alchemy. Similar to the day before, cocking your chin forward creates a energetic lock at the throat, magnetizing the spine.
